You know the moment

Therapy Session
Counseling Session

Your client is mid-disclosure about masking, about a relationship that doesn't fit the mold, about a body that processes touch differently than the textbooks describe, and you're reaching for a framework that isn't there.

You've sat through training sessions that were technically about neurodivergence and training on sex therapy, but not necessarily on the intersection of the two. You wanted scripts. You wanted to know what to actually say in the room. You wanted the training your neurodivergent clients deserve.

This is that training.

Two days. Four expert-led sessions. Concrete interventions, in-session scripts, and clinical frameworks you can use with your very next client.

Why this summit

Neurodivergent clients are more likely to be queer, polyamorous, and kink-practicing. They face elevated rates of chronic invalidation, medical conditions that intersect with hormonal and sexual health, and because of the way many of them connect with others, real vulnerabilities around safety and boundaries.

Most CE trainings weren't built with this population's sex and relational lives in mind. This summit was.

THE LINEUP

Session 1

The Missing Manual: Sex, Dating, and Safety for Autistic and ADHD Women and Girls

Calendar Icon

August 27, 12:00 PM PST · 90 minutes · 1.5 CE hours

Clinical considerations for supporting autistic and ADHD women and girls around sex, dating, and intimacy — from hormonal literacy to safety to authentic communication. This session covers ground most sex therapy trainings skip entirely: the intersection of menstrual health and neurodivergence, the vulnerability that comes with chronic invalidation, and how to help clients build boundaries and standards without over-scripting their instincts.

Session 2

Sensory Profiles in Physical Connection

Calendar Icon

August 27, 2:00 PM PST · 90 minutes · 1.5 CE hours

Intimacy is a full-body experience — and for many neurodivergent clients, the body is where things get complicated. Lori walks clinicians through the nine sensory systems and how individual sensory profiles shape a client's capacity for safety, pleasure, and connection. You'll learn to help clients build their own "sensory profile," tell the difference between sensory seeking and sensory avoidance, and use body-based language that turns a vague "something feels off" into an actionable clinical conversation.

Target Icon

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify and describe each of the nine sensory categories and articulate how sensory over- or under-responsivity may present in the context of physical intimacy particularly for neurodivergent individuals.
  2. Apply a somatic lens to assess how a client's unique sensory profile may be contributing to avoidance, dysregulation, or disconnection in intimate physical experiences through a neurodivergent affirming lens.
  3. Utilize sensory profile concepts to inform client psychoeducation and introduce body-based language that supports clients in communicating their needs within intimate relationships.
Speaker

Session 3

Beyond "Why?": Neurodivergence, BDSM, Sensory Needs, and Relational Connection

Calendar Icon

August 28, 12:00 PM PST · 90 minutes · 1.5 CE hours

Why does a client crave impact play, restraint, or intense sensation…and why does "why" so often miss the point? Jerry reframes kink through a neurodivergent lens, showing clinicians how BDSM dynamics can meet sensory and regulatory needs in ways clients may not have language for yet. Walk away with a clinical vocabulary for kink that doesn't pathologize and doesn't require you to have all the answers before you're useful to your client.

Target Icon

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe three ways that neurodivergence can influence intimacy, communication, sensory experiences, and relationship needs.
  2. Identify at least three reasons BDSM may appeal to some neurodivergent individuals. Differentiate between consensual kink practices and clinically significant concerns.
  3. Apply three neurodiversity-affirming strategies when supporting neurodivergent clients exploring BDSM and alternative relationship dynamics.
Speaker

Session 4

Neurospicy Communication Patterns in Relationships

Calendar Icon

August 28, 2:00 PM PST · 60 minutes · 1 CE hour

Neurotypical and neurodivergent communication styles don't just differ — they can actively talk past each other in ways that erode trust. Jessee breaks down common autistic and ADHD communication patterns and gives clinicians practical tools for helping couples meet in the middle with care instead of correction

Who is this for

Who is this for

Licensed and registered mental health clinicians (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, and associates) who want to work more effectively, and more confidently, with neurodivergent clients navigating sex, dating, and relationships.

Whether you have years of ND-affirming practice under your belt or you're just realizing how much you weren't taught, this summit meets you where you are and gets you further.

THE TAKEAWAY

You didn't get into this work to hand clients a pamphlet and hope for the best. You got into it to actually help in the room, in the moment, with something real to offer when a client looks at you and says "I don't know what's wrong with me."

This summit exists so you never have to improvise that answer again.
