Terms and Conditions: Anxiously Intimate Men's Retreat

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for the Anxiously Intimate Men's Retreat. By completing your registration, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Retreat Overview

• Retreat Name: Anxiously Intimate Men's Retreat
• Date: September 6, 2025
• Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
• Location: Jikoji Zen Center, 12100 Skyline Blvd, Los Gatos, CA 95033

2. Registration and Payment

• Cost: The cost per person is $355 if registered before June 30, 2025, and $375 if registered on or after July 1, 2025.
• Registration Deadline: Registration closes on September 5, 2025.
• Payment Methods: Full payment is required at the time of registration. Accepted payment methods include Credit Card, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, After Pay, and Klarna. If using After Pay or Klarna, payment plans are managed directly through those platforms.
• Incomplete Payments: If a partial payment is made (e.g., outside of Klarna/After Pay arrangements) and the full balance is not received by the registration deadline, the partial payment will be refunded, and the registration will be canceled.

3. Cancellation and Refunds (Participant)

• You may cancel your registration at any time, including during the retreat, and will be subject to the following refund policy.
• Full Refund: Available for cancellations made 30 days or more before September 6, 2025.
• 50% Refund: Available for cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before September 6, 2025.
• No Refund: No refund will be issued for cancellations made 14 days or less before September 6, 2025.

4. Retreat Changes and Cancellations (Rouse Academy)

• Rouse Academy Cancellation: In the unlikely event that Rouse Academy cancels the retreat, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule for a date as soon as possible.
• Changes to Date, Time, or Location: Should Rouse Academy need to change the date, time, or location of the retreat, all registered participants will be informed immediately, and updates will be posted on our website.
• No-Shows: If a participant is a "no-show" for the retreat, Rouse Academy will attempt to reach out via text 30 minutes after the scheduled start time. Participants arriving 1 hour or more late will not be permitted to enter the retreat. A follow-up will be scheduled after the retreat. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

5. Transportation

• Participant Responsibility: Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Jikoji Zen Center.
• Arranged Transportation: Transportation can be arranged by Rouse Academy for a fee of $50 per person. Please contact us in advance to utilize this service.
• Carpooling & Directions: Rouse Academy will assist in connecting guests for carpooling arrangements and will provide detailed directions to all ticket holders prior to the retreat.

6. Liability

• Travel Risk: Participants acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for their safety and well-being during travel to and from the Jikoji Zen Center. Rouse Relational Wellness and Rouse Academy assume no liability for accidents, injuries, or losses incurred during transit.
• Waiver: All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the retreat date. Failure to sign the waiver will result in forfeiture of your spot without a refund.

7. Participant Conduct and Expectations

• Zen Center Rules: The retreat is held at the Jikoji Zen Center, and all participants are required to uphold and respect the rules and guidelines of the center. These rules will be provided to you prior to the retreat.
• Substance Use: No substance use (including alcohol or illicit drugs) is permitted on the premises of the Jikoji Zen Center. Any intoxicated persons will be asked to sit out the retreat and arrange for safe transportation off-site.
• Disruptive Behavior: Disruptive behavior will be addressed individually. After two check-ins, if the behavior persists, the participant will be asked to sit out or leave the premises, with no refund issued.
• Grievances: Any grievances or concerns should be brought to David Khalili's attention immediately so they can be addressed promptly.
• Meals: Organic breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. Please ensure you disclose any dietary restrictions or allergies during registration.
• What to Bring: Participants should bring comfortable clothing, note-taking materials, and a water bottle.
• Photography/Videography: Rouse Academy will be taking photographs for marketing purposes during the retreat. If you prefer not to have your face included in marketing materials, please inform us upon arrival.

8. Health and Safety

• Physical Activity: Please be aware that the retreat may involve light movement, and the grounds of the Zen Center may have uneven pavement.
• Emergency Contact: You will be required to provide an emergency contact name, relationship, and phone number for use on the day of the retreat.
• Disclosures: Participants must disclose any medical conditions, accessibility needs, dietary restrictions, and allergies during the registration process to ensure your safety and comfort.
